Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites
Description: These Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and tossed in a creamy, spicy bang bang sauce. They make the perfect quick dinner or crowd-pleasing appetizer!
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
- ½ cup cornstarch (or flour)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 teaspoon honey or sugar (optional)
- Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cut salmon into bite-sized cubes and season with salt and pepper.
- Coat each piece lightly with cornstarch or flour for a crispy crust.
- Heat olive oil in a nonstick pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook salmon cubes for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey.
- Toss cooked salmon bites in the bang bang sauce until coated evenly.
- Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve immediately.
Notes & Tips:
- For extra crispiness, air-fry the salmon at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes.
- Adjust sriracha to make it more or less spicy.
- Serve with rice, noodles, or lettuce wraps.
Serving Suggestions
Perfect as a starter, snack, or main course. Try them with steamed jasmine rice, or serve on a platter with dipping sauce for guests.
